Is the worst over or are we heading for another coronavirus spike?

While the daily coronavirus cases in the country may be declining, states such as Delhi, Kerala and Maharashtra are witnessing a surge. AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria said there is a localised spread of coronavirus and this is due to many factors including crowding in the areas with no Covid-19 protocols being followed and festivals

"It's a localised spread and this is due to multiple factors like festivals and crowding in the areas without Covid-appropriate behaviour. Cold weather is another factor. There is an urgent need to bring down cases in Delhi," Dr Guleria told India Today.
