TVK chief Vijay met Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Wednesday to stake claim to form a government.
Two days before the launch of his political outfit, Tamil superstar-turned-politician Kamal Haasan today met DMDK chief Captain Vijayakanth at the latter's office in Chennai.
Describing the meeting as a "courtesy", Haasan later said, "I might be a senior actor to Vijayakanth. But he is a senior politician to me. I informed him about my tour. I enquired about his health."
Haasan, 63, also indicated his party will follow the Dravidian ideology. "I will make my politics a success by taking the Dravidian route," the Thevar Magan actor told reporters.
