Karnataka: Hanuman Chalisa played on loudspeaker to counter azaan

The Sri Rama Sene activists performed 'suprabhata’ on Monday at around 5am on loudspeakers at Diddi Hanuman Temple, Old Hubli, as per ANI report. This they said was a counter to 'azaan' on loudspeakers atop mosques. This comes a day after Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik had warned the Karnataka government that Hanuman Chalisa will be played at over 1,000 temples across the state at 5 am from May 9.
