Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Congress spar over 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra'

A war of words erupted between West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and state Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury as the former criticised 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra'. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan hit back at the TMC, claiming that the Chief Minister is speaking the "language of BJP".

Earlier on Saturday, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury slammed Mamata Banerjee, claiming she keeps changing her statement and stance due to her fear of the BJP.

Meanwhile, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge sparked another controversy by asking the workers to find good booth agents like good dogs. "The booth agents should bark and fight like a good dog," he said, addressing the Congress party workers' convention at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
