Meghalaya honeymoon murder: Wife, lover and 3 others named in charge sheet

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has concluded its probe into the Meghalaya murder case that occurred on May 23rd. The Meghalaya police have now filed a charge sheet, naming five individuals. The victim's wife, Sonam, and her lover, Raj, are accused of planning the murder, while Akash Rajput, Anand Kurmi, and Vishal Singh have been charged with assisting them. The incident took place while the couple, Raja and Sonam, were on their honeymoon, a trip Sonam had insisted upon. The investigation revealed she allegedly invited her lover and his friends to Meghalaya to execute the plan. The case, which initially began as a search for a missing couple, uncovered a story of betrayal. All five accused have been arrested and are currently in judicial custody.
