Keir Starmer meets PM in Mumbai, calls India-UK trade deal a breakthrough

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held wide-ranging discussions with his British counterpart, Keir Starmer, with a focus on strengthening India-UK cooperation in trade, defence, security, and critical technologies. He praised India's growth story, calling it "remarkable."

Starmer, accompanied by a 125-member delegation of the UK’s leading business leaders, entrepreneurs, and educationists, arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday morning for a two-day visit.
