BMC Polls: High-Stakes Battle Between Mahayuti Alliance And Reunited Thackeray Brothers In Mumbai

This news bulletin covers the commencement of polling for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), India's wealthiest civic body. The reporter highlights that voters are focusing on 'performance' over 'power', with key issues including water shortages, road conditions, and traffic congestion. Actor Akshay Kumar was also seen encouraging citizens to exercise their democratic rights, stating, 'When you can vote, you can really criticize the system.'
