PM Modi on Bihar Win: NDA's New 'MY' Formula is Mahila and Youth, Not Appeasement

In a special address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the National Democratic Alliance's election victory in Bihar, attributing the win to the state's women and youth. He thanked the people for rejecting past eras of violence, which he termed 'jungle raj', and praised the leadership of allies including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Upendra Kushwaha, and Chirag Paswan. PM Modi stated that the victory has redefined the old 'MY' formula of politics, saying, 'Today’s victory has given a new, positive MY formula, and that is Mahila and Youth.' He also commended the Election Commission and security forces for conducting peaceful polls, contrasting it with the widespread repolling and violence of previous decades. The Prime Minister emphasised that this mandate strengthens the resolve for Bihar's development and the purification of democratic processes.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
