PM Modi reaches out to minority, receives mixed response

In his first speech, after being elected as the leader of the BJP-led NDA, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that there is fear among the minorities and that has to be eroded.

His outreach towards minority received mixed response.

“If the Prime Minister seriously feels that the minorities live in fear, will he stop all these mob lynching gangs, who in the name of cow are killing, beating and taking out videos,” said AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

While many Muslim clerics welcomed PM Modi’s outreach policy.
