Numbers back Pranab Mukherjee in presidential race

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi commented on her party’s position on the Women’s Reservation Bill in a brief interaction with India Today, saying that the party has already made its stand clear, and she has nothing further to add. When repeatedly asked whether the Congress would support the bill, Gandhi reiterated her stance, offering no additional comments.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Kremlin and Press Secretary to President Putin, clarified that Russia is not a participant in the war but condemned the aggression against Iran, emphasising the need to restore international law.

The stage is set for a special three-day parliament session from tomorrow on women's reservation and delimitation of constituencies.
