Sonia Gandhi should call Gehlot, Pilot for cup of tea to sort out differences: Congress leader Margaret Alva

Congress leader Margaret Alva, in an exclusive interview to India Today, said the fight between Ashok Gehlot camp and Sachin Pilot camp is the internal issue of Congress. She said Congress president Sonia Gandhi should call both Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress leader Sachin Pilot for a cup of tea to sort out differences between them.
"Sachin Pilot has very clearly said I am not leaving the party. He has said I have no intension to pull down the congress govt. he has said I ma not going to the BJP. Now once these statements have been made, I think it becomes an internalparty issue in which neither the governor, nor the courts have any role to play. This is an issue that must be sorted our withing the party by the congress president. If she calls them both for a cup of tea at 10 janpath, makes them sit face to face, it will end up as a storm in a tea cup," Margaret Alva said.

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony. The TVK managed to secure the Governor's nod to form the government after the Congress, the CPI, the CPI(M), the VCK, and IUML extended their support to the Vijay-led party for a colaition government.
