Special team probes into death of Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-manager Disha Salian

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Mumbai Police started a probe into the alleged suicide of Disha Salian, former manager of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. On Friday, the team went to an apartment in Malad from where Salian allegedly fell to her death.
Disha was found dead on June 8, 2020, days before Sushant (34) was found hanging in his flat in suburban Bandra in Mumbai.
Additional Commissioner of Police (North) Rajiv Jain is heading the SIT. Senior inspector of Malvani police station Chimaji Adhav and his team are conducting the probe, which is being supervised by Deputy Commissioner of Police Ajaykumar Bansal, an official told PTI news agency.
People related to the case were interrogated and Disha Salian's parents will also be questioned by the SIT.

PM Modi also touched Sarkar's feet and presented a shawl to him as a mark of respect. In 1952, Sarkar was arrested in Kashmir while he was accompanying Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee as the latter was marching to hoist the tricolour there. BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya described the elderly party leader as "one of the earliest grassroots figures associated with the nationalist movement in post-Independence India."
