TDP exits NDA: Ignored TDP eyes bigger role in Opposition?

N Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has pulled out from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) following the tussle for special category status for Andhra Pradesh. The decision came after Naidu held a teleconference with all his ministers. The meeting was initially scheduled for the evening, but was preponed.

Earlier, it was expected that TDP will support the no confidence motion moved by the YSR Congress. TDP has decided to move a no confidence motion on its own and has sought support from Congress and other opposition parties as well.
