Video: Chairs fly, barricades fall as police officers from two states argue over wastewater

In a tense standoff at the Rajasthan-Haryana border near Bhiwadi, police forces from both states clashed over the issue of stagnant water accumulation.

The confrontation escalated when a Haryana Police constable, identified as Ravikant from Dharuhera station, aggressively removed barricades set up by the Rajasthan Police to divert traffic due to waterlogging on National Highway 919. Constable Ravikant also kicked chairs placed for the Rajasthan Police personnel and behaved rudely with media personnel covering the incident, warning them to leave the site.

The situation intensified as both police forces faced off, leading to a significant traffic diversion on the national highway. This resulted in long queues of vehicles and hours of inconvenience for commuters. Rajasthan Police attempted to calm the situation, but arguments broke out among officers and soldiers from both sides.

UIT Station Officer Sachin Sharma from Rajasthan Police arrived to negotiate with Constable Ravikant, who continued his unruly behavior, even disrespecting SHO Sharma.

The standoff has caused tension in the area, with police attempting to prevent media from documenting the event.
