On the afternoon of October 25, a fire broke out on the Patalkot Express train, en route from Firozpur Cantonment in Punjab to Seoni in Madhya Pradesh.
The incident occurred near Agra, Uttar Pradesh, causing significant disruption to the train's journey.
The fire reportedly started in the fourth coach after the engine around 3.45 pm, shortly after the train had departed from Agra station. Quick action by railway officials led to the immediate halt and evacuation of the affected coach, averting potential casualties. However, two passengers sustained injuries in the incident and were promptly transported to a hospital.
The exact cause of the fire remains undetermined, with investigations currently underway.
