Water sprinkled via anti-smog guns in Delhi to combat air pollution

To mitigate pollution, water was sprinkled through anti-smog guns in Delhi's Anand Vihar area, as the overall Air Quality Index stands at 346 in the 'very poor' category, as per SAFAR-India.
The season's highest air pollution was recorded in the National Capital Region (NCR) on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday with Anand Vihar topping the chart at 736 points, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Many other areas of Delhi witnessed 'hazardous' air quality that hovered around 300-511 on the AQI index, while Delhi's Mundka area topped the chart with the air quality index at 616.
AQI across the NCR is expected to remain poor, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) spokesperson said.
