Beauty trends forecast for 2015

Braids

Messy braids, milkmaid braids, crown braids, French braids, fish braids, pigtails...... The braid list will easily have you tangled. Expect to see these braids and more in 2015 as braids will be shown much love in the coming year. Pigtails ruled the ramp as seen on the models for Geisha Designs by Paras and Shalini at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, SS 2015. A great fix for your bad hair days, if you can't learn to braid neatly, learn to pass your less than perfect version as the messy braid.

Big bum    

2014 may be coming to an end but the booty craze isn't. Kim Kardashian is THE booty queen with her rear of the year and the craze for big bums is going to continue well into 2015. With the butt occupying the center stage and the steady increase in the amount of women vying for hefty bottoms, the Brazilian Butt lift is slated to become the next big cosmetic surgery trend of 2015.

Low Sleek Ponytails

A pulled back hairstyle give one's face an instant facelift making the face appear younger and gaunter. A chic sister of the Croydon facelift bun, sleek ponytails will be a big hair trend in 2015. Besides taking years off one's appearance a sleek, pulled back ponytail makes you look sharp and effortlessly stylish. The only caution to observe here would be to refrain from wearing this style regularly as it can damage the hair in the long run. Roopa Pemmaraju's models wore the low pulled back ponytail at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, SS 2015.

Negative space manicure

Less is more is finally entering the mainstream in terms of manicures.  At the Charlotte Ronson Spring 2015 show at New York Fashion Week, nail artist Miss Pop demonstrated this nifty nail art. Picking a bright mint, the nail artist left blank spaces to allow the natural nail to peep through by alternating between painted half moons and vice versa. The manicure can be easily DIYed so look forward to blogs and pins regarding the negative space mani in 2015.

Smudged  smoky eyes    

Eyes will go bold and black. While smudged eyeliner became popular in 2014, the trend will evolve towards the ultimate smoky eye created with smudged eyeliner. As seen in Rajesh Pratap Singh's collection at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, SS 2015, the smudged and smoky eye complemented with a nude lip will rule the roost.
