Yearender 2014: Bollywood's best and worst onscreen couples

With over 200 films released in 2014, Bollywood gave fans some interesting films. If the stories and plots worked for some, many films got etched in the minds of the audiences for their onscreen couples. We take a look at hit and miss 'jodis' of 2014.

Salman Khan and his on screen ladyloves have always been the talking point for any of his films . And, Kick was not an exception. Salman and Jacqueline were one of the most good looking onscreen pairs of 2014.

No matter how many times you see Shah Rukh and Deepika together on the silver screen, whenever the two come together onscreen your heart is bound to melt. The two yet again cast their magic in Farah Khan's Happy New Year.

Sonam Kapoor brought India's latest heartthrob Fawad Khan on the big screen and the women can't thank her enough. Fawad's regal and restrained look complemented Sonam's whacky performance in Khoobsurat. The two looked electrifying together on the silver screen.

Kangna Ranaut surprised everyone with her acting prowess in Queen and even Rajkummar Rao was not far behind. The actor complemented Kangna in the film and the two made quite an interesting pair on screen.

Madhuri Dixit was paired up with Naseeruddin Shah in Dedh Ishqiya and their chemistry did wonders for the film. The subtle romance between the two struck the right chord with the audiences.

When Bollywood sexiest man and woman come together, fireworks are bound to happen. Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif looked stunning in Bang Bang and did make the most handsome couple on screen this year.

Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's off screen romance apparently bloomed on the sets of 2 States and the film tells you completely why it would have happened. The crackling chemistry between the two is the USP of 2 States.

Sidharth Malhotra romanced Parineeti Chopra in Hasee Toh Phasee and this quirky onscreen couple was liked by the audiences. The two brought freshness and became a hit with the audiences.   

The subtle Shraddha Kapoor beautifully complemented the angry and agitated Shahid Kapoor in Haider. The two have been paired up together for the first time and looked quite stunning on the silver screen.

Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt surprised everyone with their performances in Highway. The two looked quite comfortable and made the characters seem very real.

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan romanced in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and yet again weaved the same magic. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya was their second film together and the two looked quite comfortable with each other.

Saif Ali Khan could not strike the same chord with the audiences in Happy Ending and even his pairing with Ileana D'Cruz did not make many heads turn.

Tiger Shroff's Bollywood debut had always been much anticipated. No matter if he became a butt of joke for his looks but he indeed made a great pair with Kriti Sanon in Heropanti and also set the cash registers ringing at the box office. 

Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha could not grab eyeballs with their chemistry in Action Jackson. The two did not get much response from the audiences for their film.

Ayushmann Khurrana was unable to weave the magic with Sonam Kapoor in Bewakoofiyaan. The two looked good together on screen but hardly came across as an attractive couple in the film.
