MCD election: EVM wave not Modi wave behind BJP's win in Delhi municipal polls, says AAP

With the trends so far suggesting a rout of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Municipal Corporations of Delhi (MCD) election at the hands of the BJP, the party continued to allege tampering of the electronic voting machines (EVMs) for the verdict, and not a Modi wave, as claimed by the BJP.

"This is not Modi wave, this is EVM wave. This is the same wave that they (BJP) used in the Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab polls," Delhi minister Gopal Rai told reporters after the counting trends showed the BJP making a clean sweep in the civic polls.
