58 per cent feel abolition of Article 370 will provide permanent solution to Kashmir: MOTN poll

Nearly five months after the Narendra Modi government decided to abrogate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and scrap the special status of J&K, the Mood of the Nation (MOTN) survey conducted by the India Today Group and Karvy Insights shows majority supports the August 2019 move.

The respondents were asked: Do you think the NDA government's move to abolish Article 370 will lead to a permanent solution to the Kashmir issue?

In response to this question, 58 per cent respondents said they feel that the decision will provide a permanent solution to the Kashmir issue; 26 per cent answered in negative while 16 per cent could not form any conclusive view on the Article 370 move.
