The trailer introduces Heer, played by Maanvi Gagroo and Sara, played by Patralekhaa, two women at different turning points in their lives. United by their desire to break free from societal expectations and personal baggage, they set out on a transformative journey to Pondicherry. Along the way, they reflect on their relationships with themselves, their families and their loved ones.

Patralekhaa takes on a fresh role as a fearless biker and travel enthusiast who dreams of building a women-led travel startup. Her character explores themes of independence, ambition and redefining freedom on her own terms.

Directed by Kartik Chaudhry, the film is described as an uplifting road-trip drama that explores identity, female friendship and the pressures society places on women. It also highlights the courage needed to break free from limitations and rediscover oneself.

Heer Sara Aur Pondicherry also features Arif Zakaria, Nishank Verma and Shveta Salve in key roles. The film is set to release on May 29, 2026.
