Priyadarshan to make sequels of his movies

Coming up with sequels to successful films is a sure shot formula for box-office success and directors are closely following the mantra. Priyadarshan is no exception. He is making sequels to his three successful movies-Garam Masala(starring Akshay Kumar and John Abraham),Bhool Bhulaiyaa (starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja) andMalamaal Weekly (with actors Om Puri, Ritesh Deshmukh and Paresh Rawal).

The director had refrained from making sequels so far. This is the first time that he would be venturing into it. In fact, he had been deliberating over makingMalamaal Weekly 2 but it was shelved. Inspired by the successful run of comedy flicks, he has revived the project.
