Saiyaara star Aneet Padda, who gained widespread recognition after the film's success, extended a heartfelt birthday wish to the movie's director, Mohit Suri, on April 11. In a caption post with a fun video she shared on Instagram, Aneet expressed gratitude and admiration for Mohit’s creative vision and personal influence.

In her message, she described the 45-year-old director as an alchemist who captures subtle emotions and transforms them into experiences that resonate with everyone.

Bit like an alchemist: Aneet says of Mohit

"You’re a bit like an alchemist, catching things most people miss, quiet pain, love hidden in the eyes and turning it into something we can all feel. And somehow it doesn’t stay yours, it becomes ours (sic)," she wrote in the caption of her post.

The 23-year-old continued, "I have too much to thank you for. You’ve taught my heart the courage to feel out loud and to lead with it. You’ve shown me a really beautiful way to live (sic)."

She added, "You’re the most human human I know. You’re Mohit Suri. Happy birthday my momo, your purpose finds you every time you create. Thank you for doing what you do, thank you for being you. I love you. Forever and ever and ever (sic)."

Aneet began her career with modelling and advertising work before acting. She appeared in projects like the Kajol-starrer Salaam Venky in 2022 and the Amazon Prime series Big Girls Don’t Cry in 2024. Her breakout role in Saiyaara, produced by Yash Raj Films, fetched her widespread popularity.

The film became the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema and earned over Rs 580 crore worldwide. Aneet’s portrayal of a young songwriter battling early onset of Alzheimer’s was universally praised.
