Celebrity couples, games: Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi to host new show Double Date
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi have unveiled the trailer for Double Date, their first show as co-hosts. The series places celebrity duos in relaxed settings designed to spark candid, unscripted conversations.

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are set to host Double Date, a celebrity-led non-fiction series that aims to move away from the usual interview format and focus instead on chemistry, comfort and unscripted moments. The couple unveiled the trailer of the show on Tuesday, giving a first look at a format built around games, activities and candid conversations rather than routine promotional appearances.
Hosting a show together for the first time, Neha and Angad are positioning Double Date as a more relaxed space for celebrity duos, whether couples, siblings or close friends. Each episode places guests in casual settings where they take part in quirky activities such as bowling, go-karting and pizza-making, with the conversations unfolding alongside the action.
A different format
Unlike traditional celebrity talk shows that often depend on rapid-fire segments or controversial disclosures, Double Date appears to lean on spontaneity and familiarity. The makers said the idea was to create a safe and comfortable space where guests could let their guard down and interact naturally.
Speaking about the thought behind the show, Neha and Angad said they wanted to create something that reflected how people behave during real hangouts rather than formal interviews. “We wanted our guests to be goofy, vulnerable, spontaneous and completely themselves without the fear of gotcha questions,” they said in a joint statement.
Guest line-up and release
The first episode, featuring Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, will premiere on Thursday on Neha’s YouTube channel. The upcoming line-up also includes Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem, Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra, and Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, among others.
For Neha and Angad, Double Date also marks their first major step into digital non-fiction content as creators, a move they said had been in the works for a long time.
