The latest buzz at Mumbai airport has our very own Kareena Kapoor in the spotlight, but not for her filmi charm this time. A video went viral showing Bebo casually bypassing the long security queue, sparking quite the chatter online.

The 45-year-old actor was seen being ushered straight to the ticket scanning point, leaving many passengers puzzled and waiting behind.

The clip quickly stirred up a storm on social media, with netizens divided over whether this was just VIP treatment or a security necessity. Some were fuming over the special privilege, while others jumped in to defend the move, citing safety protocols for celebrities.

Airport privilege or security drill?

The footage, shared by celeb photographer Manav Manglani, captured Kareena walking directly to the front, skipping the long line like a true diva. Passengers looked on, wondering if this was the usual drill or some new perk for the Kapoor khandaan.

The Internet wasted no time voicing their displeasure. One user claimed, “She’s been doing this for years! I was at the airport many years ago, and she walked right through, past us, to get ahead of everyone waiting in the security line. This is nothing new with her (sic).”

Another accused her of misusing power, while a third asked sharply, “Under which constitutional law is she getting this privilege?(sic)”

Not everyone is throwing shade

But hold on! Not everyone was ready to throw shade. Some fans and followers jumped in, arguing that celebrities and VIPs deserve separate lines for security reasons. “Celebrities and VIPs should get separate lines due to security reasons! (sic)” one user commented.

Another social media voice suggested a legal way to skip the queues, saying, “If you wanna break the line legally, you should install the ‘Digi Yatra’ app and should complete online boarding, then you can have a separate line and mostly there will be no queue for those lines (sic).”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor is gearing up for her role in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film Daayra. The shooting is wrapped, and the film is set to hit screens this year.

So there you have it. Whether it’s a cheeky shortcut or a security must, Kareena’s airport moment has everyone talking. What do you think about it?
