Katrina Kaif gives a 'dad' twist to Vicky Kaushal promoting her makeup brand

Actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif recently gave fans a glimpse of their easy banter on social media, with Vicky playfully promoting a product from Katrina's beauty label, and joking about not landing a paid brand deal. Katrina later joined in with a light-hearted response of her own, keeping the exchange going.

On Wednesday, Vicky shared a post on his Instagram Stories featuring one of Kay Beauty's products and wrote, "Caffinated cheeks for caffinated me! What a wow @katrinakaif @kaybykatrina (sic)." He followed it up with another line that added to the joke: “I tried my best, but sadly not a paid promotion.” Kay Beauty later re-shared the post and wrote, "Officially adding \"caffeinated cheeks\" to our vocabulary (sic)."

Late on Wednesday, Katrina reposted Vicky's story on her own Instagram account and added a remark linked to his life as a new father. She wrote, "best for sleep-deprived dads." The couple welcomed a baby boy, Vihaan, last year.

This is not the first time Vicky has promoted Katrina's products online. In 2024, Katrina had shared a video in which Vicky spoke to a stuffed toy deer and said, “Buddy, I think I just found the most hydrating lipstick.” He then added, “It's not kay to be so good.” When the camera turned to Katrina, she replied, “But it's Kay to be you.”

Vicky and Katrina, who kept their relationship private for a brief period, got married on December 9, 2021 in an intimate yet grand ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. Four years after their marriage, they welcomed their first child, son Vihaan, on November 7, 2025. Announcing the birth on Instagram, they wrote, "Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy (sic)."

More recently, Vicky spoke about Katrina's new role as a mother in an interview with Etimes. “The mother is being the superhero. She has been a warrior through her pregnancy, and she has been a warrior as a mother as well. I'm so incredibly proud of her, and I love her so much,” he said.

The couple's latest social media exchange, along with their earlier posts and Vicky's comments about Katrina, offered another glimpse into their personal equation, with humour, affection and family life all finding a place in the conversation.
