Priyanka Chopra Jonas tapped into a viral Instagram trend to look back at her journey, tracing the arc from childhood dreams to global stardom, while reflecting on her life across films, entrepreneurship and motherhood.

The actor shared a carousel of childhood photos alongside present-day images, each slide pairing a younger memory with a milestone she may not have imagined at the time. One of the first posts revisited her Miss World win at 18, juxtaposed with a childhood photo and the caption, “Miss World? Me??”

In another, she reflected on building a career across countries, writing, “Across countries? We travel abroad?” – a nod to her eventual journey from India to Hollywood. She also highlighted her work as both an actor and producer, sharing a childhood image with the caption, “What? I act in movies? And help create them?”

Further slides captured her globe-trotting lifestyle, with a line about travelling so frequently that she no longer experiences jet lag, contrasted with a memory of visiting Kashmir with her father. Priyanka also referenced her entrepreneurial ventures and her memoir, offering a glimpse into the many roles she has taken on over the years.

The final set of posts focused on her personal life, celebrating motherhood and her family with husband Nick Jonas and their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.

Separately, in a recent appearance on Amanda Hirsch’s podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat, Priyanka spoke about her decision to explore opportunities in the American entertainment industry. She said she felt limited in India at the time and wanted to test her potential in Hollywood, especially given the lack of Indian representation there.

Reflecting on her early years in the United States, she recalled feeling like an outsider during her school days. She also acknowledged the challenges along the way, noting that growth often comes from navigating difficult phases.

On the work front, Priyanka will be seen next in SS Rajamouli's Telugu actioner Varanasi. She will co-star alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The much-anticipated movie will hit theatres globally in 2027.
