Actor Rakesh Bedi featured in a light-hearted moment with traffic police officers at a signal after they recognised him for his role in Dhurandhar. In a clip from the latest episode of The Bombay Journey, which surfaced on Instagram on Tuesday, the officers are seen greeting the veteran actor warmly and praising his work in the film.

The exchange turned playful when Bedi, in his familiar comic style, joked, “Don’t issue me a challan now,” prompting laughter from those around him. The video was shared with the caption, “It’s not every day you see the traffic squad turn into fanboys."

What appeared to begin as a routine stop soon turned into an impromptu fan interaction. One of the officers greeted Bedi with a handshake and praised Dhurandhar, saying the film was “terrific.” He also told the actor that he had watched it in theatres and had thoroughly enjoyed it.

Soon after, another traffic police officer joined the interaction and clicked a selfie with Bedi. The officers, apparently unaware that the candid exchange was being recorded, continued chatting with the actor.

During the conversation, one of the officers also mentioned having watched Tirangaa, in which Bedi starred alongside Nana Patekar, and recalled his performances with Salman Khan as well. Bedi then added to the humour of the moment by saying, “Ab challan mat kardena (Don't issue me a challan now),” after which one of the officers burst into laughter.
