As Dhurandhar: The Revenge creates history at the box office, actors Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt attended a high-profile party in Mumbai on Saturday. Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Shilpa Shetty were other film celebrities on the guest list, as were Anant Ambani and his wife Radhika.
The occasion was to celebrate the birthday of Mishka Kamboj, daughter of businessman Mohit Kamboj. Several photos and videos from the event are now going viral on social media.
A photo from the party featuring SRK with Ranveer, Preity Zinta, and Shilpa Shetty has gone viral. A video clip showed SRK, Ranveer, Anant Ambani and wife Radhika at the venue amid a crowd of acquaintances and security personnel.
Ranveer Singh sets the dance floor on fire
At the party, Ranveer brought alive the dance floor with his signature energy and style. One of the videos showed the actor taking the microphone to lip-sync the rap portion of the song Aari Aari. Sanjay Dutt joined his Dhurandhar 2 co-star on stage and cheered him on.
Dhurandhar 2 continues box office reign
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 continues to perform strongly at the box office. On its tenth day (the second Saturday), the film recorded a 50% increase in collections compared to the day before, with a nett earning of Rs 62.85 crore across 18,786 shows in India.
The film’s total nett collections in India have reached Rs 778.77 crore, while its worldwide gross has crossed Rs 1,200 crore. It is among the fastest Bollywood films to approach the Rs 1,000 crore net mark domestically. The collections of the film from day 11 (Sunday) are yet to be revealed.
About the film
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the espionage thriller stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sara Arjun. The story follows an undercover Indian agent seeking revenge for the 26/11 attacks while tackling criminal and political threats in Karachi.
With no major Hindi releases scheduled soon, Dhurandhar 2 is expected to maintain its box office momentum in the coming weeks.
