Ranveer Singh turns a Vincent Van Gogh art piece in lockdown, shares inspiring quote by the painter

Ranveer Singh transformed himself into a piece of art on Tuesday. The actor shared a portrait of himself in the style of late painter Vincent Van Gogh.

Along with the photo, he shared an inspiring quote by the Dutch painter. He wrote, "As we advance in life it becomes more and more difficult, but in fighting the difficulties the inmost strength of the heart is developed."

Several celebrities commented on the photo. Huma Quershi wrote, "Edge of insanity." While Nimrat Kaur wrote, "So special."

It is said that Vincent Van Gogh committed suicide in 1890. Going by Ranveer's post and the comments it received, it seems the actor is indicating towards mental health through the post. During lockdown, imposed to prevent further spread of the novel coronavirus, stress and anxiety are on rise. The actor has also been urging his fans and followers to take care of their mental health during these testing times.

Ranveer Singh is currently in quarantine with his wife Deepika Padukone. The couple often posts pictures and videos sharing how they are spending their time in isolation.

Earlier, he took to Instagram story to share a new photo of himself in which he looked buffed up. He wrote, "Gainzville," along with the photo.

In his free time during the lockdown, Ranveer Singh is spending his time in working out and sleeping. During an Instagram live session, the actor confessed that he is working out for 2-3 hours a day and sleeping the rest of the time.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Kabir Khan's 83, which is based on Indian cricket team's 1983 World Cup win. He is playing the role of former skipper Kapil Dev. The film was scheduled to hit the screens on April 10, but because of the lockdown, the makers decided to postpone its release to a later date.
