Sri Sri Ravi Shankar meets celebs: Vikrant Massey touches feet, Sunil Grover jokes

Actors Vikrant Massey and Sunil Grover, director Rajkumar Hirani and producer Sajid Nadiadwala were among the film personalities who recently met spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Glimpses from the meeting were shared on social media, with videos and a photograph offering details of their interactions with him.

On Monday, the official Instagram account of the spiritual leader shared a video showing Vikrant hugging Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The post also showed the actor speaking about his experience of portraying the spiritual leader in his upcoming film White.

Another video from the meeting featured Sunil Grover in a lighter exchange, while Sajid Nadiadwala's production house and Rajkumar Hirani also shared or spoke about their own connection with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

The video featuring Vikrant drew attention for its warm moment with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. In the clip, the actor is seen hugging him before speaking about his experience of playing the spiritual guru in White.

In another video, Sunil Grover was seen asking Sri Sri Ravi Shankar a humorous question. He said, "When big producers and directors meet me, they praise me a lot. But they don't work with me. What should I do?" Check out his response here.

Sajid Nadiadwala's post

Sajid Nadiadwala's production house, Nadiadwala Grandson, also shared a photograph from the meeting on X. The caption read, "A legacy built over 75 years, carried forward with gratitude, faith and countless memories. We're honoured to share this special moment with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji (sic)."

Rajkumar Hirani on PK shoot

A conversation between Rajkumar Hirani and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar also took place during the meeting.

Hirani shared that he had approached Gurudev during the shoot of PK (2014) and requested him to allow the film to be shot at his Bengaluru centre, especially the scenes of the ashram and huge crowds.

He added, "I was quite certain Gurudev would decline the request. Nevertheless, I still went ahead and asked him for permission. But to my surprise, Gurudev instantly gave his consent and allowed me and my team to shoot at The Art of Living Foundation premises."

Hirani further said Gurudev was also impressed with the story of the film, as it exposed fake godmen. The filmmaker expressed that he was deeply touched by Gurudev's generosity and thanked him once again for his support.

PK starred Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, the late Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt and Saurabh Shukla, who played a godman in the film. Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani, the film told the story of an alien stranded on Earth.
