Sushant Singh Rajput's sister says all eyes on CBI after AIIMS declares his death a suicide

Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, took to Twitter and asked everyone to continue praying for the truth to be out soon. She also used a hashtag that says 'All eyes on CBI'. Shweta Singh Kirti wrote, "The test of faith is when you can stay strong and unshaken during the testing time....I urge my extended family to have faith in God and pray from all your heart....Pray that the truth comes out. The AIIMS doctors team that had re-evaluated Sushant Singh Rajput's post-mortem and viscera reports, declared that it was a case of suicide and ruled out the possibility of a murder angle. Dr Sudhir Gupta, who led the AIIMS medical team, told India Today that Sushant Singh Rajput's death is a case of suicide and the murder angle is 'completely ruled out'.

The AIIMS team had submitted its findings to the Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday (September 29). The CBI is presently investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and will now continue their probe focusing on the suicide angle, sources say. The CBI will also probe the abetment to suicide angle in the case.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. The actor's post-mortem was conducted at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai the same day and the cause of death was stated as asphyxia due to hanging. The Mumbai Police, declaring it a case of suicide, had started investigating the 34-year-old actor's death.

On July 25, Sushant Singh Rajput's father, KK Singh, approached Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna and lodged a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and others for alleged abetment to suicide. He also accused Rhea of siphoning off Rs 15 crore from Sushant's bank accounts. The Bihar Police registered an FIR on basis of KK Singh's complaint and began conducting their own investigation.

In response to this, Rhea moved the Supreme Court and challenged Bihar Police's jurisdiction. The case was then transferred to the CBI for investigation. Sushant Singh Rajput's fans and family members expressed their contentment after the CBI took control of the investigation.
