Actor Tara Sutaria has begun her Cannes 2026 journey, sharing pictures from her first day at the film festival. She appeared in a black-and-white Helsa gown as she posted glimpses from the French Riviera ahead of a key appearance at the event.
Tara said she was "thrilled" to be invited to the Festival de Cannes and to be honoured at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala. Her post also hinted at another major moment at the festival, with the actor asking followers to stay tuned.
First-day look at Cannes
For her first appearance, Tara wore a black-and-white gown featuring a structured sweetheart neckline and a flowing silhouette. She completed the look with soft, voluminous waves and statement earrings.
Sharing moments from day one on Instagram, Tara wrote, "Thrilled to be invited to Festival de Cannes and to be honoured at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala. Tomorrow eve is a big moment! Stay tuned.. Until then, some moments from day one (sic)."
The actor also posted photographs from the day as she marked the start of her time at Cannes 2026.
