Tara Sutaria's stylish airport look sparks Cannes 2026 departure buzz
Actor Tara Sutaria was photographed at the airport in a sharply tailored pinstripe suit. Her appearance has added to the growing buzz around India's presence at the film festival.

Actor Tara Sutaria was seen at the airport early on Tuesday morning, and her sharply put-together look has sparked speculation that she may have finally left for the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. With the countdown to Cannes underway, several Indian names are expected to be part of the festival this year, and Tara’s appearance has added to that buzz.
Tara’s airport outing quickly drew attention for its polished styling. She chose a charcoal grey pinstripe pantsuit and kept the look sleek and structured. The sighting came a day after Alia Bhatt was seen at Nice Airport, adding to the conversation around India’s presence at Cannes this year.
Tara’s airport look
For her airport appearance, Tara wore an oversized charcoal grey pinstripe pantsuit. The broad-shouldered blazer and relaxed trousers gave the outfit a strong and modern silhouette. Under the suit, she wore a soft white blouse with a tie-neck detail, which added contrast to the structured outer layer.
She completed the look with black sunglasses and carried a quilted black top-handle handbag from Dior. The overall styling was clean and sharply finished.
Other guests at Cannes
Earlier on Monday, Alia was seen at Nice Airport in a structured all-black ensemble. The look marked a shift from her more relaxed travel style. For her Cannes arrival, she wore a tailored Carolina Herrera blazer with puffed shoulders and a cinched waist, paired with matching Camila skinny trousers from the label’s Spring 2026 collection. She finished the monochrome look with accessories from Gucci.
Along with Alia and Tara, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari are also expected to represent Indian cinema at the festival. Filmmaker Payal Kapadia has also been named president of the jury for the 65th edition of Cannes Critics’ Week, a section that runs parallel to the main festival and focuses on emerging voices in cinema.
Upcoming film
On the film front, Tara will be seen in Toxic, headlined by actor Yash. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is set in Goa between the 1940s and the 1970s and follows Yash’s character as he tries to build an empire through fear and power. The cast also includes Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth. The film is slated to hit theatres on June 4.
