Wamiqa Gabbi is “grateful beyond words” as Bhooth Bangla has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark, making it her first film to achieve the milestone. The Priyadarshan–Akshay Kumar reunion has struck a chord with audiences despite mixed critical reviews, prompting the actor to share a heartfelt note reflecting on her journey.

On Tuesday, Wamiqa shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the film’s sets on Instagram, celebrating its success. Expressing her gratitude, she thanked the makers, co-stars, and the entire team for their belief in the project, calling the film a collective effort.

“My first 100 crore film. Grateful beyond words to @priyadarshan.official , @akshaykumar , @ektarkapoor and @f.a.a.r.a along with the entire cast and crew who believed in this film and gave it everything. Bhooth Bangla is as much yours as it is ours (sic),” she wrote.

She also acknowledged the audience, thanking them for embracing the film and her journey. Calling it “just the beginning,” Wamiqa added that she looks forward to continuing to grow and entertain.

“And to the audience thank you for seeing it, feeling it, and slowly making space for it and for me. Every step here has been earned, learned, and deeply felt. This is just the beginning I’ll keep showing up, keep growing, and keep entertaining you always,” she added.

Bhooth Bangla collections

According to Sacnilk, the film was screened across 9,498 shows in India on Day 10, with its total domestic gross estimated at Rs 134.98 crore.

Internationally, the film added Rs 3 crore on Day 10, taking its overseas total to Rs 44.50 crore and its worldwide gross to Rs 179.48 crore.

While the film has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, it continues to hold attention at the box office. However, its current total remains significantly lower than Border 2, the Sunny Deol-led war drama, which concluded its run with a worldwide gross of Rs 450.20 crore.

Bhooth Bangla also marks Akshay Kumar’s reunion with director Priyadarshan after 14 years. The ensemble cast includes late Asrani, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Jisshu Sengupta, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
