Court rejects Rhea Chakraborty's bail plea in drugs case

The sessions court today rejected Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty's bail plea. Rhea has been living in Mumbai's Byculla jail since Wednesday (September 9). The actress was arrested by the NCB on Tuesday (September 8) for allegedly arranging drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput.

Judge GB Gurao dictated the order of bail. There are six accused who were seeking bail, including Rhea and Showik Chakraborty. In her bail plea, Rhea Chakraborty had stated that she is innocent and accused the NCB of "falsely implicating" her in the case. She also stated that she was "forced into making self-incriminatory confessions" on the day of her arrest.
