Met Gala 2025: Madonna, Demi Moore, celebs lead the night's show-stopping looks

The annual fundraising event, the Met Gala, took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 6 (IST). Rihanna, who joined the league of stars at Hollywood's biggest fashion night, flaunted her baby bump and confirmed her pregnancy. The pop icon is expecting her third child with boyfriend ASAP Rocky. 

Beauty mogul Kim Kardashian turned up the heat at the 2025 Met Gala with her gorgeous outfit. For the annual gala event, she wore a body-hugging all-black number. She elevated her fashion in the dramatic off-the-shoulder shiny midnight-coloured corset dress that had a floor-length crocodile textured bottom with a train that trailed behind her.

A Met Gala veteran, Kendall nailed the theme with her look. This year, the supermodel wore her Torishéju Dumi two-piece set. As per the brand's official release, her look "took inspiration from Gladys Bentley and the elegance of 1920s Harlem Renaissance women." 

The two Kardashian sisters were joined by Kylie Jenner. For the blue carpet, the beauty mogul wore a custom bustier gown by Ferragamo. Her dress featured a halter neckline and a cheer panel at the waist. 

Nicole Kidman stunned in a corset gown with a picot-edged basque, exquisitely crafted from silk organza. The design included multiple layers of petticoats, creating a tilted silhouette, and was cinched with silk satin bow belts at the waist and hips. She completed the look with a black lace scarf, matching spandex jersey gloves and crepe satin Raven pumps. 
 

Gigi Hadid looked like a vision to behold in a custom golden Miu Miu gown that resembled a Josephine Baker look. 

Actor Demi Moore appeared at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a Thom Browne gown that resembled a men's tie. The bodice of her dress was designed to resemble a knot, while the skirt was crafted to mimic the shape of a collar.

The singer joined the big names of Hollywood for the annual fashion night. For the gala event, she honoured the tailor-made theme in an all-white tuxedo by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford. The look was complete with a matching bow tie, white boutonnière, and sheer embroidered gloves. 

This year, Halle Berry made her second appearance at the prestigious event. For the night, she wore a sheer and sequined black panels and a black satin bolero—a reference to the night’s tailoring theme with hints of pinstripes and tuxedo styling. She accessorised her looks with Cartier jewellery.

Hailey brought beauty to the Met Gala blue carpet. The model wore a refined Saint Laurent blazer dress with a double-breasted neckline and black buttons. She accessorised her look with diamond jewellery from Tiffany & Co.

Blackpink's Rose returned to the gala night in a plunging black suit featuring a dramatic train by Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello, perfectly aligning with the 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' theme. An oversized pendant necklace completed her bold look.

Rose was accompanied by her second member, Lisa. For the event, she dazzled in a black bodysuit with long sleeves and legs covered in Louis Vuitton transparent stockings. She completed her look with a jacket that was decked in pearls and gold. 

Blackpink’s Jennie made a stunning statement at the Met Gala, turning heads in a black suit paired with a matching off-the-shoulder top. As the brand ambassador for Chanel, she unsurprisingly represented the French luxury house, completing her look with an elegant long train.

The Wednesday actor brought her fashion A-game forward at the Met Gala. The actor made a dramatic entry by revealing a paneled metallic dress by Olivier Rousteing. 

Singer Dua Lipa made a stunning entry at the event with partner Callum Turner. For the big night, the singer wore a beaded Chanel dress in honour of the night’s 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' theme. 

Miley Cyrus added her unique touch to the fashion night. For the event, she wore a black custom Alaïa ensemble. To echo the dress’s razor-sharp tailoring, the singer created a slicked-back, origami braid hairstyle.
