Director Shankar’s dream project 2.0, which is being made on a budget of Rs 450 crore, stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. The teaser of the sci-fi film will be released on Vinayaga Chathurthi on September 13.

While Rajinikanth will be seen as Chitti the robot, Akshay Kumar plays the antagonist. The film, which is heavy on VFX, will hit theatres worldwide on November 29, 2018.

At the audio launch of 2.0, director Shankar revealed that the film will impart a global message. He also added that it is not a continuation to Endhiran.

Akshay Kumar plays a bird enthusiast in the film. His look has already created curiosity among the audience.

Amy Jackson plays Rajinikanth’s love interest in 2.0. From the poster, it looks like she will also be seen as a robot.
