On the occasion, Ranveer Singh and she took off on a birthday trip to Lucknow.

DeepVeer had a surprise waiting for them at the airport, when a press photographer brought a birthday cake for Deepika.

The couple were seen cutting the cake and feeding each other pieces, before entering Mumbai airport.

As chivalrous as ever, Ranveer was seen holding the car door for his lady love.

The duo arrived at the airport early on Sunday morning. Reportedly, they are flying off to Lucknow.

Deepika and Ranveer were seen engrossed in conversation as the shutterbugs had a gala time clicking them.

Deepika's much-awaied and much-talked about film, Chhapaak is set to release in another 5 days, on January 10.

Deepika will be seen in the role of Malti, an acid-attack survivor, a character that mirrors the life of Laxmi Agarwal.

Deepika also turns producer for the first time with Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak.
