Remember when the cast of the popular TV sitcom Friends reunited on social media? Jennifer Aniston aka Rachel Greene made her Instagram debut this year with this internet-breaking selfie, and wrote, "And now we're Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM." Guess what happened after that? Aniston's account crashed! But then it was immediately restored. Phew!
This year we saw Priyanka Chopra making a stunning appearance in a Dior outfit with husband Nick Jonas at Met Gala 2019. She had experimented with a bold hairdo, white-tone eye make-up and a feathered dress, in keeping with the theme of the event which was called Camp: Notes on Fashion. Her dramatic look received mixed reactions on social media. Interestingly, it was at Met Gala 2017 where Priyanka and Nick met for the first time. This was their second appearance together.
TV actress Hina Khan made a red carpet debut at Cannes International Film Festival this year. For the event, she opted for a gorgeous grey embellished gown. This was a special moment for Hina but her look invited controversy after the infamous comment, "Cannes has suddenly become chandivali studios kya?" The comment did not go down well with Hina's industry colleagues and TV actors and everyone from Karanvir Bohra to Arjun Bijlani to Nia Sharma came out in support of her on social media.
But it's not just Deepika's red carpet looks that make headlines. The first-look poster of her upcoming film Chhapaak also made us speechless this year. She is playing an acid-attack survivor in the film, a character which is inspired by Laxmi Agarwal. Hats off to the prosthetic artistes, that's all we can say for this look.

But this year, Ranveer Singh broke the internet when he replicated that shot for a scene in the upcoming film 83. Ranveer shared the still on Instagram, and if don't look closely, you wouldn't be able to tell Dev from Ranveer!
That's Amitabh Bachchan. We bet you couldn't recognise him for a moment, isn't it? That's Big B's look from his upcoming film Gulabo Sitabo. Though we had already seen him as an old man in 102 Not Out earlier, this look deserves applause. Amitabh revealed on Twitter that it took him three hours to get ready for the Gulabo Sitabo look, and we can see why. He is playing the role of a Muslim landlord in Shoojit Sircar's directorial venture opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
This year, Bollywood reunited with PM Narendra Modi one more time to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The event was organised at PM Modi's residence in New Delhi. Actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, among others were on the guest list. This particular picture featuring SRK and Aamir with the PM went instantly viral. If only Bhaijaan Salman Khan had also been there!
