Newlyweds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone jetted off to an undisclosed destination for their honeymoon.

Ranveer and Deepika made for a picture-perfect couple, as they walked hand-in-hand, in colour-coordinated outfits.

Deepika revealed in a recent interview that this trip will be "extra special", as she and Ranveer will not only enjoy a romantic honeymoon but also celebrate the actress's first birthday after marriage on January 5.

Ranveer and Deepika have another reason to celebrate - Rohit Shetty's Simmba was off to a roaring start at the box office and has become the biggest opener of Ranveer's career so far.

While Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot on November 14 and 15 at Lake Como, the couple got engaged four years ago, she revealed in a recent interview.

When Deepika was asked by an entertainment website when she knew that Ranveer was the one for her, she said, "Over a period of time. I think it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said that made me feel and believe more and more that he is really the person I want to spend the rest of my life with."
