Nagarjuna Akkineni, Tollywood's Yuva Samrat, has turned 60 today. The Telugu star doesn't look his age one bit. He effortlessly pulled off a relatively much younger role in his latest release Manmadhudu 2, where he was seen romancing Rakul Preet Singh. On his birthday, let's look at his real-life love stories.

Nagarjuna's father Akkineni Nageswara Rao married off his son to his dear friend Ramanaidu Daggubati's daughter Lakshmi Daggubati in 1984. Lakshmi is also the sister of actor Venkatesh Daggubati.

After two years of a happy marriage, Lakshmi and Nagarjuna had Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in 1986. However, things went south and the couple divorced in 1990. Their marriage lasted only for six years.

Latter, love blossomed between Nagarjuna and actress Amala. The hero proposed to Amala in the US, when they were shooting for a film, and she said yes.

Both shared screen space in many films namely Prema Yudham and Siva.

Nagarjuna and Amala got married in 1992, and they had Akhil Akkineni in 1994.

While Nagarjuna is still busy with his films, Amala stopped acting in films post marriage.

However, she made her comeback after several years and acted in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam.

Last year, the couple wonderfully celebrated their 25th anniversary.
