Secret Superstar singer Meghna Mishra opens up on meeting Aamir Khan

It was Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar which gave Meghna Mishra's voice the platform it needed. Her song Nachdi Phira turned out to be a big hit.

At the India Today Woman Summit and Awards 2018 in Jaipur, the singer opened up on her journey from Banaras to Bombay, what it was like to meet Aamir Khan and Amit Trivedi, and working on Secret Superstar.

The teenager revealed that she was among the 30 girls who had auditioned for the song. And the song finally went to her.

Meghna also opened up on her first meeting with Aamir Khan.

"Aamir Khan is an actor who is admired by everyone. It was in my bucket list to meet him once in my life. We were in Panchgani," she said.

"The first time I met him, Aamir Sir said that he wanted us and the musical team to work in Panchgani. It was a beautiful experience," added Meghna.
