Tamil star and racer Ajith Kumar was among the first voters in Chennai's Thiruvanmiyur booth during the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. He returned recently from Belgium after finishing second in a 24-hour endurance race.
Tamil actor and racer Ajith Kumar was one of the first citizens to cast his vote in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, being held today (April 23) across the state. The actor turned up in an all-white shirt, trousers and matching blazer, at Thiruvanmiyur booth in Chennai to exercise his civic duty.
He was surrounded by chaotic fans, who screamed his name and expressed their love for him. Police officials had a tough time managing the crowd. In the video, Ajith can be seen closing his ears to shield him from the noise outside the polling booth.

Ajith Kumar was seen returning from Belgium on Wednesday ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. The actor, along with his team, took part in a 24H endurance race and secured a second spot in the international championship.
Earlier this year, Ajith shared his 2026 calendar, which showed multiple racing events throughout the year in Portugal, Italy, Germany and many other countries.
On the cinema front, Ajith Kumar was supposed to do a film with director Adhik Ravichandran, his second collaboration after the 2025 hit film, Good Bad Ugly. While the film was supposed to go on floors in February, it has been postponed for unknown reasons. More details regarding the film will be out soon.
