Atlee and wife Priya Atlee have revealed their daughter's name in a new Instagram post. The couple also shared the special meaning behind the name along with a cute photo.
Atlee and wife Priya Atlee have revealed their daughter’s name. In an Instagram post shared on Sunday, May 17, the filmmaker also explained the meaning behind the name.
In the still video shared of Instagram, the couple wrote, "Our hearts have a new name. Miyou. A tiny person with the biggest place in our hearts (sic)."
Sharing the meaning behind the name, Atlee wrote in the caption, “Our art of love now has a name. MIYOU - beauty, gentleness and love. With luv, Meer, Priya and Atlee” (sic).
Atlee and Priya welcomed a baby girl on April 20. The Raaka director shared the news with a post featuring a cartoon portrait of their son Meer celebrating becoming an elder brother.
Earlier this year, on January 20, the couple announced Priya’s second pregnancy through pictures from a maternity photoshoot.
The caption of the post read, "Our home is about to get even cozier with the addition of our newest member! Yes! We are pregnant again. Need all your blessings, love, and prayers. With love, Atlee, Priya, Meer, Becky, Yuki, Chocki, Coffee, and Goofy (sic)."
Atlee and Priya dated for several years before getting married on November 9, 2014. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Meer, in 2023.
On the work front, Atlee made his directorial debut in Tamil cinema with Raja Rani after assisting filmmaker S Shankar. He later directed films such as Theri, Mersal, and Bigil, all starring Vijay.
He made his Hindi directorial debut with Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and later produced Baby John, featuring Varun Dhawan.
Atlee is currently working on Raaka, a sci-fi entertainer starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone.
