Delete it immediately: Jana Nayagan makers warn violators after film leak
KVN Productions, the film banner backing Jana Nayagan, issued a statement condemning the film's online leak. Expressing their strong stand against film piracy, they warned the violators to delete the leaked footage.

KVN Productions, the producers and exclusive copyright owners of Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan, has issued a statement following the leak of the film on social media and pirate websites. Urging violators to delete the clips, the makers warned violators of legal action.
The production house confirmed that "certain scenes and, in some cases, most of the film have been illegally accessed, copied, and circulated by unidentified individuals." They described this as a serious threat of digital piracy.
KVN Productions emphasised that downloading, viewing, storing, forwarding, sharing, uploading, or circulating the leaked content through platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, websites, torrents, or any other medium is a criminal offence and violates copyright laws.
The makers further said that every digital action is traceable. They have already begun necessary investigations, including forensic analysis, and have filed complaints against those involved. Efforts are ongoing to identify all individuals in the chain of circulation.
"Strict civil and criminal proceedings will be pursued against every offender without exception," KVN Productions warned.
The public has been strongly advised not to engage with the leaked content in any way. The statement cautioned that anyone found involved will face immediate legal action at their own risk. The producers urged people not to open, store, or forward it and to delete it immediately.
Jana Nayagan, Vijay's farewell film, has been in a limbo after a month-long legal standoff with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The makers withdrew the case and agreed to send the film to the revising committee. However, the film hasn't been certified yet.
The film, reportedly made on a huge budget of Rs 500 crore, was supposed to hit theatres on January 9. But, it was postponed after the CBFC flagged certain scenes that could potentially hurt the sentiments of the people. It is also being reported that Jana Nayagan was delayed because Vijay is contesting in the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections as Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief.
Jana Nayagan is a commercial drama with political undertones.
