King100 update: Tabu and Nagarjuna reunite after decades as filming begins
Tabu has begun shooting for Nagarjuna's 100th Telugu film, tentatively titled King100. The film reunites the actors decades after Ninne Pelladata, with more details still awaited.

Actor Nagarjuna has begun work on his landmark 100th Telugu film, tentatively titled King100, with Tabu playing a key role in the project. The development marks an on-screen reunion between the two actors after decades.
Tabu shared the update on Instagram, posting a picture of a clapperboard bearing the film's title, placed on a black chair. Along with it, she wrote, "And we begin with #King100 #Nagarjuna @annapurnastudios (sic)."
Earlier in February, Nagarjuna had spoken about his long-standing bond with Tabu. In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, the actor said they went back a long way and that Tabu wanted to be part of his milestone film as soon as she heard about it.
"We go back a very long way. I've known her from the time she started. And when Tabu got to know I was doing my hundredth film, she wanted to be a part of it," he said.
Nagarjuna and Tabu were previously paired in the 1996 romantic entertainer Ninne Pelladata. Further details about the cast and crew of King100 are yet to be officially revealed.
Tabu was last seen as Yashodha in director Priyadarshan's comedy-drama Bhooth Bangla (2026), alongside Akshay Kumar. The film also featured actors Paresh Rawal, Jisshu Sengupta, Rajpal Yadav and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. It was released on April 17, 2026.
Nagarjuna was last seen in director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Tamil action thriller, Coolie (2025). The film featured actors Rajinikanth, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Shobana and others in key roles. The film had a cameo by Aamir Khan and a special appearance by Pooja Hegde.
Nagarjuna's last Hindi theatrical release was director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva (2022).
