'Pushpa 2's' new poster adds intrigue to Allu Arjun's character, teaser date out

The makers on Tuesday released a brand-new poster of Allu Arjun's highly-anticipated, Pushpa 2: The Rule. In the poster, we only get to see a foot of presumably Arjun's character from the film. The foot is adorned with a ghungroo, a kind of anklet. The poster also revealed that the film's first teaser will release on April 8, which happens to be Allu Arjun's birthday. Â
The poster is in line with the first look of the actor from the film, where he was seen dressed as a woman as he is said to be taking part in 'Gangamma Talli Jathara', a ritual practised in Tirupati. Every year, 'Gangamma Talli Jathara' is celebrated for a week. On the last day, men dress up as women and appear as Gangamma. The deity is said to be a destroyer of evil.

Reports suggest that director Sukumar has designed a high-octane action sequence against the backdrop of Gangamma Thalli Jathra.Â
