After weeks of speculation, the makers of Maa Inti Bangaram have confirmed the film’s new release date. The Samantha Ruth Prabhu-starrer will now hit theatres worldwide on June 19, 2026, moving from its earlier date of May 15.

The announcement was made on May 13 along with a new poster that offers a glimpse into the film’s gritty tone. In the poster, Samantha appears in a rugged avatar, holding a shotgun across her lap with a steady, composed stance. Her intense expression hints at the action-heavy narrative the film promises.

Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “It’s time to pull the trigger. #MaaIntiBangaaram in theatres worldwide on June 19, 2026.” The team had earlier indicated that the release was postponed to avoid a clash with the IPL season.

In an earlier statement, the production house, Tralala Moving Pictures, confirmed the shift in schedule, noting that the decision was made to ensure a better release window.

Maa Inti Bangaram marks Samantha’s return to Telugu cinema in a lead role after Kushi (2023). Apart from headlining the film, she is also backing it under her banner. The project is co-produced by Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvvuru.

The film has already kicked off its promotional campaign. The song Thassadiya has garnered attention online, with Samantha’s dance moves drawing significant traction. The teaser and trailer have also generated buzz, positioning the film as a gritty action drama layered with family emotion.

Notably, the film will see Samantha performing action sequences without a body double for the first time.
