Actor Suriya drew attention at the pre-release event of Veerabhadrudu, the Telugu dubbed version of his Tamil film Karuppu, after a video of his interaction with a fan went viral online. During the event, a fan ran towards him to hug him, fell at his feet and attempted to take a selfie, prompting security personnel to intervene.
As security tried to pull the fan away, Suriya stopped them, called the fan back and posed for a picture with him. The moment was widely shared online, with fans praising the actor’s gesture.
